4 Ways To Fix SD Card is Unreadable or Corrupted

SD card (SD Card) or commonly referred to as an external memory device is one of the most needed at this time. Although there have been many gadgets which have large internal memory, users still require external memory (MicroSD) to store it.

Maybe you have experienced memory problems unreadable (damage), with memory that is unreadable is certainly will complicate us move data-data that is in memory. To troubleshoot memory card can't be read on Android, Mr.Lucknuts got four ways that can be done to improve the memory.

How to fix Memory Card is corrupted or Unreadable
Method 1: clean the memory card

  • First aid for troubleshooting memory card is not detected by removing the memory card from the gadget. Make sure you have turned off the gadgets first.
  • Clean the copper plate (golden yellow) with a pencil eraser (the white color). Rub it slowly to the net.
  • If you believe you've been clean, place back the memory card into the memory slot and then check if it's been read or not.

Method 2: Perform the Format from Android

  • Go into the settings menu > Storage.
  • in the menu there is an SD card Erase option. By removing the SD Card, it can make memory clean as new.

Way 3: Check Error from PC

  • Connect Android to a laptop or PC with a data cable.
  • Make sure the Android you connected with Mass storage mode (MSC), not the Media transfer mode (MTP).
  • Open Windows Explorer, right click on the memory card Drive, select Properties > Tools > Error Checking, wait until all proceedings are completed.
  • Eject the memory card, then check if it's been read or not.

Way 4: Format from PC

If the memory card (MicroSD) legible and looks fine on the computer, but still unreadable in Android. Try using this way:

  • Create a new folder on my hard drive, give the name of any origins you recall if this new folder would be a temporary storage place aka backup the contents of your memory card damaged.
  • Copy the entire contents of the memory card and then Paste it into the folder you've created earlier.
  • If you are sure you have copied all the memory card formats.
  • And then restore all the existing data in the folder into memory that is already formatted.
  • Now check again, it still fails or not.

If it still fails as well, try to repeat the steps again
